01 — The challenge
The standard checkout was losing orders.
The default WooCommerce checkout asks for too much information over too many steps. On mobile, many visitors added shoes to their cart and left before finishing their order.

I built a custom checkout plugin that keeps only the fields that matter and fits on one screen, together with clear product pages where shoppers choose their size and colour in seconds.

Jeldeex sells shoes online, and most of its customers shop from their phone. The project focused on one thing: removing everything that slows a customer down between "I like these shoes" and "order placed".
What I built
- A custom checkout plugin that replaces the long default checkout with a short, one-page form.
- Clear product pages with size and colour options that are easy to pick on a small screen.
- A fast, clean catalogue so shoppers find the right model quickly.
Everything is built on WordPress and WooCommerce, so the team manages products, stock and orders from a dashboard they already know.
