A complete online booking experience for a Moroccan cinema — from browsing showtimes to picking a seat and paying in under a minute.
01 — The challenge
Tickets were sold at the counter — and queues cost sales.
Every ticket was sold at the box office. On busy evenings the queue grew, some people simply gave up, and the cinema had no way to sell seats in advance or to know how full a session would be before the doors opened.
02 — The solution
A Laravel API and a fast Next.js front, built for mobile-first booking.
Moviegoers browse what's showing, choose a session, pick their exact seat on an interactive room map and pay online. The cinema team manages films, sessions and rooms from one admin dashboard.

Cameo Cinema needed to move ticket sales online without losing the simplicity of buying at the counter. I designed and built a booking platform where moviegoers see what is showing, choose a session, pick their exact seat on a live room map and pay in under a minute — on their phone, where most bookings happen.
How it works
- For moviegoers: a fast, mobile-first site with showtimes, film pages and an interactive seat map. Seats that are taken are locked instantly, so two people can never book the same one.
- For the cinema team: one dashboard to add films, plan sessions per room, set prices and follow every booking in real time.
Under the hood
A Laravel API handles films, rooms, sessions, seat locking and payments, and a Next.js front end keeps every page fast and SEO-friendly, so each film can be found on Google.
